Yes. From 2024, delivery platforms report your income directly to HMRC. If there's any mismatch between what they report and what appears on your tax return, it will trigger an enquiry. We reconcile all platform income monthly, accounting for commissions, promotions, and VAT correctly.

It depends on what you sell and how. Eat-in food is standard rated at 20%. Cold takeaway food is generally zero-rated. Hot takeaway food is standard rated. Catering is always standard rated.
